Vastu Architecture - Maharishi Peace Palace and MAHC Rendlesham

The Maharishi AyurVeda Health Centre (MAHC) and Maharishi Peace Palace, as well as all the houses situated within the Maharishi Garden Village (MGV), are unique in that they are designed to the principles of Vastu architecture.

John Renwick, GB Director of Institute of Vedic Architecture and City Planning, is a resident of the MGV and oversaw the complete construction of the MAHC, Maharishi Peace Palace, and the majority of the houses within the MGV.

Vastu architectural concepts are so essential for a number of reasons:

Vastu is a Great Power in Nature
The knowledge of Vastu is the unique science that connects and balances individual life with Cosmic Life. It is one of the life-transforming Vedic sciences and complements Maharishi AyurVeda and Maharishi Jyotish and Yagya. As with other fields of Vedic Science, learning about Mahaishi Vastu has an immediate self-referral application to one’s life.

The House is an Extension of One’s Physiology
As consciousness lives in the body, so the body lives in a house; the house is an extension of one’s physiology. The human body is the most complex, holistic structure of Natural Law in the entire universe. When this perfect human form is enclosed in a box-like structure, the building should act as an interface resonating with everything inside and everything outside.
